Field Service Technician
We are looking to employ a hard-working and experienced Field Service Technician to perform all duties pertaining to the installation and general upkeep of customers’ telecommunications systems.
Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Upgrading and maintaining companies’ current telecommunications systems.
- Evaluating customers’ needs and installing / repairing systems to best meet those needs.
- Perform routine tests to ensure telecommunications systems are operating at optimal levels.
- Perform diagnostic testing on problematic telecommunications systems to identify and resolve various technical faults.
- Run low voltage cabling, CAT5 or CAT6. Terminating keystones and RJ45s’.
- Perform minor computer networking. Windows and MAC skills (Office).
- Order replacement components for various telecommunication systems and devices.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
Field Service Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience working as a telecommunications technician.
- Sound knowledge of Telecommunication systems.
- The ability to interpret technical / schematic drawings.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a good driving record. (Extensive driving in this position)
- Must pass a background check.
