Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during service.
- Ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning to maintain an organized kitchen environment.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory.
