Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV systems and physical patrols to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Manage conflicts with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying suspicious behavior and reporting it accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid security guard license or certificate as required by state regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
