Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, preventing theft or vandalism, and responding to emergencies as needed. A strong background in surveillance and conflict management is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to observe activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) is an asset.
- Military background is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively.
