Job Summary
Comcast is looking for a highly motivated and talented Director of Product Partnerships to own partner relationships from a product perspective for our 3rd Party content partners (such as Hulu, ESPN, WBD, YouTube, etc), across our North American markets.As a leader experienced in the TV/Broadcast/Streaming industry, you will be used to working collaboratively with VP and C-suite level, at global content partners, often on very complex and at times technical problems. You’ll be an expert in how to launch and continuously improve partner services on a TV platform, with a high level of reliability and quality. You will be used to proactively understanding content partner ambitions and strategies, ensuring alignment with Comcast’s Global Product plans.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
· Ensure the north star for our content partner product experience is understood by the product and operational teams internally and externally, and proactively ensure they are driving towards that vision with solid governance
· Able to think laterally, often simplifying highly complex ideas and roadmaps to ensure we progress
· Own all product requirements that we need for and from our partners, working with commercial teams to ensure these are within our deals
· Proactively work with partners at VP and C-Suite level, on their future product strategies and roadmaps that will impact Comcast
· Through your leadership and guidance deliver a significant step change in the quality of app experience on Comcast platforms
· Define, develop and implement standard operational frameworks for partner engagement/management. Leverage a data driven approach to continuous improvement, leveraging what we know and striving to plug any gaps identified.
· Coordinate with business leaders to identify needs and progress solutions to meet those needs; effectively collaborate with peers to ensure solutions aligned strategically/globally
· Develop product materials in relation to partners.
· Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to strategy.
· Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
· Influencing teams and individuals who do not report to you. Demonstrating the ability to win through with vision and personality, rather than direct mandate.
· Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
· Some travel may be required
