Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership in defining, developing, integrating, testing, documenting, and supporting code and scripts to test custom software applications using Java and JavaScript; execute automated functional and performance tests using Cypress and Cucumber test automation tool; debug and triage test cases and test logs using SPLUNK and ELK queries; set up build pipelines for continuous delivery and automation framework using GIT, Jenkins, and Maven; create and execute testing, functional testing, performance testing and web services testing using JMeter; manipulate and debug data using SQL database scripts; suggest optimizations and implement solutions on a need basis; document the automation development process; maintain the test automation framework;  create tickets for issues, coordinate triage functions, and track issues to closure; provide regular communication of project status and issues requiring escalation; collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience testing custom software applications using Java and JavaScript; of which three (3) years include executing automated functional and performance tests using Cypress and Cucumber test automation tool; debugging and triaging test cases and test logs using SPLUNK and ELK queries; setting up build pipelines for continuous delivery and automation framework using GIT, Jenkins, and Maven;  and manipulating and debugging data using SQL database scripts.
