Job Summary
Comcast’s AI Technologies team is responsible for providing services and capabilities that transform our product, customer, and employee experiences with machine learning and artificial intelligence. We enable everyone in the company to innovate and create business value with AI. The AI Technologies team is a part of Comcast’s broader Technology, Product, and Experience (TPX) organization that’s responsible for developing and delivering the products that define and transform the customer experience.As Sr UX Designer on the AI Technologies team, you will design user interfaces for AI-powered platforms and applications. One such platform is Ask Me Anything (AMA), a self-service platform for creating question and answer experiences and agentic workflows powered by Generative AI. You will have a hand in designing the user interfaces for platforms and applications like AMA that our engineers and product managers use on a daily basis. You will also work directly with key stakeholders to design proof-of-concept experiences, showing how AI can be leveraged to bring to life new features in Comcast’s applications.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
User Research & Analysis – Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors. Analyze research to create personas, journey maps, and workflows.
Design Strategy – Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define user experience goals. Translate requirements and feedback into innovative and intuitive designs.
Wireframing & Prototyping – Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma. Present and iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback. Plan and execute usability tests to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
Visual & Technical Design – Designs user interfaces that are visually appealing and aligned with organization objectives. Creates or leverages existing design systems, patterns, and components to ensure consistency across platforms.
Leadership – Represents and shares designs in strategic meetings. Leads design critiques and foster a culture of constructive feedback.
Project Management – Prioritizes and manages multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets. Communicates progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders effectively.
Collaboration – Collaborates with broader Comcast UX design teams to drive UX alignment and promote the reusability of design components.
Employees at all levels are expected to:
7 years of proven experience in UX Design, ideally working with technical stakeholders
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to articulate and describe designs to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to take technical concepts and translate them into compelling narratives and designs
Collaborative and curious mindset, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into designs
An interest or passion for Artificial Intelligence and using it to solve meaningful problems
