Job Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for selling Comcast Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses. Working as part of a team, this role drives sales using prospecting activities and cultivates relationships with institutions in designated territories.
Core Responsibilities
- Delivers face-to-face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of Comcast's latest products and services, selling to exceed departmental financial and unit targets.
- Develops sales territory by cultivating local partnerships and organizational affiliations, generating new leads through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
- Retains customers by delivering on the Comcast Credo, ensuring a superior customer experience, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive retention.
- Maintains accurate sales records and prepares reports as required.
Additional Requirements
- Attends out-of-office meetings with customers, demonstrating excellent verbal and written skills, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrates knowledge of network design, MAN technologies, and other related areas.
- Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Regular attendance, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or relevant combination of coursework and experience; 5-7 years of relevant work experience preferred.
