Job Summary

You will be responsible for promoting and selling Comcast products and services, including video, high-speed internet, voice, and XFINITY Home.

This role focuses on individual sales to single-family units and sales to multiple dwelling units through relationships with property management.

You will utilize advanced knowledge of Comcast's products and services, as well as sales process experience, to maximize sales and effectively work assigned turf.

Core Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Comcast products and promote and sell offerings to individual customers by knocking every door within assigned territory.
  • Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers, evaluating their existing and potential product needs and making recommendations.
  • Increases customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models, as well as competitive advantages over other service providers.
  • Possess expert knowledge of selling techniques reflective of the position's required relevant experience.
  • Create and execute turf management plans without assistance, utilizing experience-based sales techniques and operating independently.
  • Show confidence in selling ability, displaying competent time management and organizational skills.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals as established by local market, independently establishing and organizing daily sales activities.
  • Generate business through established and approved methods of lead generation, implementing effective sales closing techniques to ensure product installation goal is achieved.

Requirements

  • A consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment with emphasis on business-to-consumer sales.
  • Thorough and advanced understanding of video, high-speed internet, voice, and XFINITY Home.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and people skills, as well as strong customer service skills.
  • Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases).
  • Must meet physical requirements of the job, including walking and/or traveling door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions.

Sales Compensation

We offer significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets. Our compensation programs provide a Total Target Compensation of $77,000.00, which includes Base Pay and Targeted Commission.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
