What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Comcentia?
The selected vendor will be instrumental in providing strategic and operational support for 50 high-touch, custom skilling engagements targeting Tech for Social Impact managed Intergovernmental and Nonprofit partners across Europe, Australia and the Americas. The vendor's responsibilities will encompass:
- Collaborate with partner organizations: Work closely with partner organizations in their business languages to analyze their skilling needs and create comprehensive training plans, in partnership with Training Service Partners, with a focus on AI fluency, Copilot for M365, Azure Open AI, and Security. These plans will empower organizations and their beneficiaries to gain access to AI skills that are becoming a core skills requirement for the AI economy. Your role involves not only understanding technical requirements but also aligning the necessary training with strategic business goals.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate effective relationships with partner organizations throughout their AI journey. As an executive communicator, you’ll engage with end users, developers, and C-suite stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and demonstrating the value of AI solutions. Understand their unique requirements, translating them into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes.
- Evangelizes Complex Programs: Evangelizes complex programs to stakeholders and partner organizations to gain buy in. Leverages data and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and/or Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]) to demonstrate the value of the program and show business impact. Adapts communication style and storytelling strategy according to audience and business needs.
- Pipeline Management: As a program manager, maintain a robust pipeline of training opportunities. Regularly forecast and track potential engagements, aligning them with strategic priorities of program teams, field teams and partner organizations
- Collaborating with partners to identify and articulate skilling goals and objectives.
- Effective Communication: Whether through written reports or high-stakes presentations, your communication skills are critical. We are looking for a candidate that has a background in AI, the ability to convey key messages to both a technical and business C-level audience and . clearly articulate the value proposition of AI skills investments, fostering understanding and buy-in at all levels.
- Project Planning: Contributes to or leads a portfolio of projects including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for complex programs. Communicates the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and holds them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes.
- Leverages cross-functional resources: Works with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, program, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design compliant, complex programs from initiation to delivery with minimal coaching. Produces and/or leverages collateral (e.g., proposals, strategy walking deck, internal and external pitch content) to incorporate stakeholder needs and ensure the business objectives are met.
- Tracks outcomes: Collects and tracks success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as acquisition, usage, impact, effectiveness, and partner organization feedback, and uses scorecards and dashboards to monitor complex programs and ensure all activities align with business and program objectives. Uses data analytics (e.g., scenario analyses) to provide input into insights and training that help identify current and future program risks and mitigation plans, as well as opportunities to streamline and optimize programs based on lessons learned. This will include: collection of AI customer stories and co-sell ready partner solutions, measuring AI readiness and engagement activities and insights about AI market and competition.
- Training Delivery: Effectively deliver live training sessions on topics related Microsoft M365 Copilot and Azure Data AI to diverse audiences, including front line workers and C-suite executives.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Microsoft skilling content, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure, Azure Data and AI, Fabric, and other related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective skilling strategies.
- Strong organizational and event management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A track record of successful partner engagement and support.
- Strong ability to collaborate across multiple internal Microsoft teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and skilling.
- Microsoft Certified Trainer
- Proven track record of delivery high-quality training sessions to a variety of audiences
