The main function of a Silicon Design Engineer is responsible of all physical design tasks at the block and sub-system levels. These tasks include synthesis, floor planning, placement and routing, CTS, physical verification, IR/EM analysis, and closure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for various physical design tasks at the block level
- Responsible for various physical design tasks at the sub-system level
- Assist in the physical design flow development/automation
- Assist in the identification of library deficiencies within the technology an toolchain
Skills:
- Expertise in floor planning, place and route, and physical verification
- Experience in tape-outs of complex tasks
- Attention to detail; analytical and problem-solving ability
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree preferred.
Salary : $40 - $50
