What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Clean Room Technicians position at Comcentric Inc.?
We are seeking Clean Room Technicians to support precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for various spaceflight systems. These positions are onsite in Kent, WA, and will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and reliability of critical aerospace components.
Location: Kent, WA
Duration: 6-12 month contract (with potential for extension or conversion to perm)
Available Shifts & Compensation:
A Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $42.00/hr
B Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay Rate: $46.20/hr
C Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay Rate: $46.62/hr
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and passivation of hardware using solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
- Handle hardware safely using overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
- Conduct titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and adjust chemical systems.
- Inspect hardware using visual methods, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing.
- Package cleaned hardware for storage or shipment.
- Maintain and calibrate shop-level equipment including pumps, tanks, filtration systems, and scales.
- Conduct general housekeeping of lab and cleanroom areas.
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE (eyewear, steel-toe boots, gloves, etc.).
Qualifications:
- 0-5 years of experience in aerospace, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or related industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety procedures.
- Ability to handle chemicals and solvents safely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a cleanroom environment.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
