This role is responsible for reviewing, approving, binding, and issuing auto, home, and umbrella insurance policies submitted electronically. You will work with multiple carriers, ensuring each policy meets underwriting guidelines while delivering high-quality service to our network of independent agents.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate risks submitted electronically for approval, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Bind and issue policies for personal lines insurance, including home, auto, and umbrella.
- Collaborate with agents and carriers to secure the best coverage solutions and pricing.
- Assess risk factors and determine appropriate underwriting actions based on guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for underwriting decisions.
- Support agents by answering underwriting-related questions and providing guidance on policy eligibility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active 2-44 Personal Lines Agent License (Required)
- Experience in underwriting and quoting personal lines insurance (home, auto, umbrella) with multiple carriers
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks effectively
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in insurance rating systems and underwriting software preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively support agents and carriers
