About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Tech Support Specialist to join our growing in-house technical support team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing technical assistance and resolving their issues effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and professional technical support to customers via phone, email, chat, and other relevant channels.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, modem/router configurations, and customer equipment.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and technical issues in our ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or engineering teams when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
- Stay updated on the latest industry best practices, product releases, updates, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficient in using computers and common software applications.
- Experience with troubleshooting internet connectivity issues, configuring routers and modems, and basic computer networking is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
