The Role: We are seeking an organized and customer focused Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong administrative and organizational skills, attention to detail and enjoy support work. You will work closely with our team to ensure our clients are being serviced to the highest standard and our sales department is functioning seamlessly.
Sales Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Assigning and following-up on projects and quotes
- Compiling daily lists of leads and delegating them to sales team associates
- Answering client questions regarding their account, sales products, and after-sales support
- Informing clients of unforeseen delays or problems
- Assisting in expediting requested rush orders and altering sales orders and shipping information as required
- Performing data entry duties related to metrics, sales figures, quotas, goals, and other key data
- Entering order information into the company database and verifying accuracy and timeliness
- Analyzing customer data to optimize sales efforts and better identify potential customers
- Maintaining an accessible and organized system for sales and administrative professionals (CRM/Sales Data)
- Coordinating training and scheduling (including client conferences and meetings) for sales staff
- Working with staff members from other departments such as marketing, research/design and financing to optimize sales
- Handling all administrative duties for the sales department
- Providing assistance to management team members and executives as needed
- Maintaining supplies and ensuring the adequacy of sales presentation equipment and materials, including slides and brochures
- Assisting in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events
- Monitoring the team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements
- Ensuring adherence to laws and policies
- Other duties as assigned
Sales Operations Specialist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent minimum education
- Proven experience in sales and/or experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (Bi-Lingual in Spanish desired)
- Team player mentality with high level of dedication
- Skill and experience in CRM (HubSpot) operations and use a plus
- Skill and experience in Dynamics Business Central a plus
- Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP) Certification or Customer Care Professional Certification a plus
