What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Compliance Engineer position at Comet?
What will you do?
Main Tasks and Targets
Monitoring and interpretation of all global customer and regulatory requirements in respect of product (technical) compliance at semiconductor industry on a regular base.
Acting as an interface between varied internal and external stakeholders for ensuring our company’s due diligence.
Support of internal regulatory demand to foster compliancy of our product portfolio worldwide.
Creation of necessary compliance declarations to customers.
Improving and developing Comet’s business processes and systems for excellence in compliance.
Tasks / Responsibility
Continuously monitors all requirements in respect of product compliance and their applicability for Comet PCT product worldwide.
Assesses and processes new requirements from market and / or customer with the internal experts.
Provides knowledge about regulatory requirements to support in-time product development and to endure a compliant supply chain of Comet products.
Continuously improves the processes in respect to achieve compliance with all internal and external partners.
Who are we looking for?
Degree in material science or engineering in respect to compliance.
5 years experience in customer and supplier interaction in respect to material science or material and product compliance.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in respect of product compliance (CE, EMC, Safety, SEMI S2, IEC61010, etc.).
Good knowledge of requirements of the semiconductor industry, analysis methods and their application to the product portfolio of Comet PCT (RF match, RF generator, and vacuum capacitors).
Very good knowledge in problem solving and continuously improve processes.
Strategical und tactical thinking to improve compliance situation towards customers and internal partners.
Experience in SAP including BOM display and data analysis functions like ME2M, material masters display.
Good excel skills to do BoM-level analysis when necessary for declaration-related diligence.
Well-developed excel skills to support effective data preparation and exchange.
Good facilitation with component engineering and analytical thinking related to materials used in engineering components.
