Cometic Gasket, Inc., is a leading worldwide supplier of gaskets and engine sealing solutions for the Automotive Performance, Powersports, Original Equipment and remanufactured Engine Industries.
Position: Packaging Associate
Shift: 1st
Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour with pay increase at 90 days
Benefits: Medical, dental, 401k, supplemental insurance, vacation and sick time, 8-10 paid holidays
Must have a valid driver's license and all applicants are subject to background checks and drug screenings. Some positions require heavy lifting.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Able to stand for excessive amount of time, while picking and packing parts
- Organizational skills and multi-tasking
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Light computer work and simple mathematics
- Solid communication skills
- Pull, pack and seal finished product, to prepare for shipping
- Good attendance, reliability
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Adhere to ISO/Cometic practices and policies
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing / packaging experience
- Ability to work in a warm manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Operate with a focus on safety
- Apply basic use of mathematics and computer skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
