ComForCare Home Care is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide ready to work in Manhattan. If you are a dedicated professional ready to change the lives of our valued aging population, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications:
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification
- Knowledge of or experience in memory care is a big plus!
- Full Physical Report and Drug Screening
- 2 professional reference letters–within the past 3 years
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Patience, empathy, and compassion is a must!
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, as well as thoughtful or creative activities to engage your unique client. Get to know your client's likes, dislikes, stories, and personality! You may also be asked to help with:
- Dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Ambulation around the house
- Encouraging exercise and fluids
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Running errands
- Transportation to appointments
