ComForCare Home Care is looking for a responsible, compassionate Home Health Aides with Sunday availability, able to work in Sheepshead Bay area. Knowledge of memory/Dementia care is preferred. Our client needs your help to keep them healthy in the comfort of their homes, for as long as possible! If you are a dedicated professional ready to change our community for the better, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications:
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification
- Knowledge of or experience in memory care
- Full Physical Report (includes Drug Screening)
- All ComForCare employees are required to be COVID vaccinated
- Two professional reference letters–from the past 3 years
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Patience, empathy, and compassion is a must!
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, as well as thoughtful or creative activities to engage each unique client. Get to know your client’s likes, dislikes, stories, and personality! Depending on their individual needs, you may also be asked to help with:
- Dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Ambulation around the house
- Encouraging exercise and fluids
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Running errands
- Transportation to appointments
