Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Portage, MI. This is a part-time position with the following shift schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and weekends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help with mobility, including assisting with walking, transferring, and repositioning.
- Assist clients with medication reminders and daily routines.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience required.
- Ability to follow directions and provide compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Background check required.
