Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide mobility assistance, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Assist with medication reminders and administration.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in activities to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, sweeping, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities.
- Communicate regularly with the care management team regarding client progress, needs, or changes in condition.
Qualifications
- A compassionate and caring attitude is a must.
- Previous caregiving of 2 to 3 years is required
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
