Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients' health is maintained.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Assist clients with mobility, including lifting when necessary, to promote their independence.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by providing tailored care that meets their unique needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, group home settings, or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and resident rights is essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
