Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatrics or related medical fields and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a blend of personal care assistance, companionship, and support with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support mobility by assisting clients with walking, transfers, and using mobility aids.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers regarding any changes in client condition or needs.
- Document care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as geriatrics, medical-surgical, clinic, outpatient, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, PICU, or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals accurately.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Must possess reliable transportation for travel between client homes if required.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
