Weekend Caregiver

ComForCare, a prominent member of the Best Life Brands family, is at the forefront of the in-home care industry, dedicated to enhancing and stabilizing the quality of life for individuals.

Looking for individuals that can work 6am to 2pm. If want more hours or days you can always pick up more hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care and support to elderly individuals, catering to varying health conditions. -
• Assist with daily activities including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
• Implement behavior management strategies under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well
• being of those under your care.
• Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community engagements.
• Engage clients in social interactions and activities to promote overall well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with mealtime routines.

Skills:

• Proficient in long-term care practices and senior care services.
• Knowledgeable in hospice care principles and resident rights advocacy.
• Capable of monitoring vital signs and providing basic first aid when necessary.
• Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and assisted living protocols.
• Experience in caregiving or a related medical field is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the caregiving environment.

This role requires a compassionate individual with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of others. Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation purposes. You will need to have or obtain a HCA License.
