ComForCare Home Care is looking for experienced direct care professionals to work in the Fenton area for DAY and/or EVENING shifts!! Must be willing to work a rotating weekend schedule in some capacity.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance, such as showering/bathing, dressing, toileting
- Remind clients to take medications
- Safely assist with transfers and ambulation (Fall Prevention)
- Help with mobility outside the home (transport to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, etc.)
- Help plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Assisting clients with all Activities of Daily Living
- Companionship and encouragement of hobbies and enrichment activities to improve quality of life
- Safety oversight for cognitively impaired individuals
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment
- Reliable transportation (Valid Driver's License Not Necessary)
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting
- Eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate, kind individual that takes pride in their work
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, or completion of a CNA Program (No state license) preferred but not necessary
