ComForCare, a family owned and operated private duty home care Agency is looking for HHAs and CNAs to provide compassionate home care to clients near YOU.
Description: Female client lives in a house with husband, daughter, son in law, and their Autistic son. She has Alzheimer's, It's in the early-mid stages. Short term memory is wiped out, she is stubborn and doesn't like it when people give her orders, so ask her and don't tell her what needs to be done, her family has been caring for her and she adores them reassure client this assistance is not for her but for the family. They need a break. Be a friend to her. Using phrases like, "Hey ...I could use your help..." put her on the team, make her feel important.

There is a CAT in the home.
The family is getting exhausted and needs a caregiver to assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, linens, run errands, med reminders. Take client in your car to get her nails done, beauty salon, go see a movie. Encourage her to use her walker.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11am-5pm or 11:30am-5:30pm
Payment: $15hr
