Duties

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or community activities.
- Support individuals with disabilities or autism through direct support techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients in home health or assisted living settings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home community care, hospice care, or assisted living is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient observation and the ability to recognize changes in client conditions.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in direct support or related fields is an advantage but not required.
