Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in physical or mental health status.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety during transfers.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or senior care is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in patient observation and the ability to recognize changes in client conditions.
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in nursing or caregiving is beneficial.
