Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you serve.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and report findings to nursing staff or family members.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet individual client needs.
- Assist with first aid measures when required, ensuring immediate attention is given in emergencies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a caregiving role or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring is advantageous.
- Experience in nursing homes or long-term care settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is beneficial for those working with terminally ill patients.
- Training in first aid and medication administration will be considered an asset.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
