Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring any changes are reported to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including lifting clients when necessary.
- Observe and report any changes in client behavior or health status.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or social work is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform patient observation and document care accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and assist clients with mobility.
