Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to specific dietary needs and preferences.
- Develop and follow individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and observe patients for any changes in condition, reporting concerns to family members or healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure proper medication management according to care plans.
- Support clients with assisted living tasks while respecting their dignity and independence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to individual dietary restrictions.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior.
- Basic first aid certification is a plus.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
