We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential support and assistance in their daily activities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring resident rights are upheld, offering patient care, and preparing meals, all while fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist residents with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs and preferences.
- Support residents with social engagement activities to enhance their well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' health status and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, ensuring their dignity and respect are maintained.
- Assist with hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort for both residents and their families.
- Maintain knowledge of resident rights to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care or as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of social work principles as they relate to patient care is an asset.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the individual needs of each resident.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

- Caregiving: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CNA (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Preferred)
