- Provided exceptional training on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Are never alone in the field - support is always available.
- Are thoughtfully matched with children that they are compatible with.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
- A passion to serve and help children with special needs, and/ or experience with mentally divergent children.
- A genuine caring attitude and understanding of the client/children needs and emotions.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation
- Previous experience caregiving for children in homes or daycares.
- California Home Care Aide registered
- Current TB clearance
- Fluent English Speaking
- Able to work weekends
