Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful relationships.
- Help with mobility assistance, including transferring clients with Hoyer lifts and other devices.
- Medication reminders and monitor client health.
- Light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities (must have a reliable vehicle).
- Record and report any changes in the client's condition to family or healthcare professionals.
- Follow the care plan and document daily activities and observations.
Requirements:
- Must be 20 years or older.
- 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (must have your own vehicle).
- Hoyer lift trained or willing to be trained.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities.
- CPR/First Aid certified.
- Experience with personal care and mobility assistance.
