Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and mobility support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support clients with memory care strategies and techniques as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a group home or assisted living setting as required.
Skills
- Experience in long-term care settings.
- Knowledge of working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in creating and following detailed care plans.
- Strong background in direct support services.
