Essential Functions
- Personal Care
- Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
- Companion/Sitter/Household Management
- Provide companionship and respite services for family
- Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
- Client is a woman in her 80s and the family needs immediate assistance in the night for companionship and medication reminders every 4 hours.
- Night shift hours 8 pm to 8 am on rotation 2-3 days/week.
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
- Negative TB Test
- Willing to keep client active
- Good at communicating
- Have driver's license and car
