What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Comfort and Care Home Care?
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and administer various human resources programs and initiatives
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting interviews and coordinating new hire orientation
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Process payroll and maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with employees
- Support employee relations by addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on company policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR initiatives and decision-making
- Provide support for performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in a human resources role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, UltiPro) for data management and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of payroll processes and familiarity with FMLA regulations is a plus
