Now, we’re looking for a talented Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our crew and keep Portland rolling!
Pay: $30-40 per hour DOE
Schedule: 8 AM - 4:30 PM M-F / Weekends off
Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostics on vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to transmit, align, and maintain vehicle parts.
- Collaborate with service technicians to develop repair strategies and ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
