Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Provide information about daily specials and promotions
- Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient seating and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests
- Excellent guest relations skills, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and proper phone handling procedures
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is beneficial
