DSP (Direct Support Professional)

Comfort Care Home has an exciting opportunity to join our team! We are looking to expand by hiring several part time staff in the Isanti County area. Staff can combine part time positions to work up to 40 hours a week.

The primary focus of this position is to work directly with people who receive supportive services in their own homes. The direct care staff will act in the best interest of the person they serve by implementing personalized goals/outcomes and documenting process.

Direct care staff will be working closely with individual doing a variety of daily tasks like; recreational activities in the community and at home; assisting and training clients to increase skills and independence in daily living activities (dressing, bathing, medication administration, budgeting and other duties as assigned) We strive to have each employee work as a valued interdisciplinary team member with our staff as well as other professions, including; county case managers, medical needs personnel, therapy and psychiatric services.

The current need is for people served in the Isanti County area, specifically in the city of Cambridge, rural Isanti County and Mille lacs County area.

Experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual(s).

CURRENT AVAILABILITY:

**1 part time staff to work with an adult female in her family home located in Cambridge MN. This position requires working 3 -5 days a week from 10am- 4pm

**1 part-time staff for one adult female in Cambridge. This position is for a part time staff to work up to 10 hours a week for a female client in Cambridge

**1 part time staff for one adult female in Cambridge. This position is for a part time staff to work up to 12.5 hours a week

**1 part time staff for one adult female in Milaca to work up to 4 hours a week.

PERSON HIRED CAN WORK WITH MULTIPLE CLIENT LOCATIONS IF THEY CHOOSE.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct support roles
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to work independently
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid insurance and drivers license
• Strong cooking, organizing and cleaning skills for maintaining a safe living environment
• Background in social services work or related fields is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
