What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Chaplain position at Comfort Care Hospice DBA Savior Hospice?
We are looking for a Chaplain to join our team and provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing spiritual support to individuals of all faiths, helping them cope with difficult situations, and offering advice and comfort. The Chaplain will also be expected to lead religious services, provide pastoral care, and work with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that the needs of patients are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual guidance and support to individuals and families.
- Provide pastoral counseling to individuals and families.
- Facilitate religious services, including weddings, funerals, and other ceremonies.
- Assist in developing spiritual care programs for the organization.
- Conduct research on religious topics and provide resources to staff and patients.
- Advocate for social justice issues related to faith-based organizations.
- Provide spiritual direction and support to staff members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,500.00 - $68,500.00 per year
