Job Overview
Comfort Care Medical is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Lymphedema Fitter to join our team. This role requires frequent travel to clinics and healthcare facilities to provide expert fittings for compression garments, educate patients, and collaborate with therapists and physicians. The ideal candidate is comfortable with driving/travel and isdedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
To support your role, Comfort Care Medical provides a company vehicle and laptop to ensure seamless travel and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional fittings for compression garments, including arm sleeves, gloves, stockings, wraps, and other medical-grade compression products.
- Travel daily to various clinics, hospitals, and therapy centers to meet with patients and healthcare providers.
- Assess patients' needs based on physician orders, measurements, and diagnosis.
- Educate patients on how to properly wear and care for their compression garments.
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure proper product selection.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with insurance requirements.
- Provide compassionate and professional customer service to patients.
- Stay updated on the latest lymphedema treatment options and compression therapy advancements.
- Assist in follow-up visits to ensure patients have the correct fit and adjust as necessary
Travel Requirements
- Must be comfortable with frequent driving as this role requires visiting multiple locations weekly.
- Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
- Mileage reimbursement & overtime pay is provided for work related travel.

- Company laptop for documentation and communication.
Qualifications
- Experience in medical fittings, lymphedema care, or durable medical equipment (DME) preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Fitter (CFo, CFm, CFm-L) is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification (Experience is a plus, but not required).
- Strong understanding of lymphedema, compression therapy, and medical garments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a travel schedule efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take accurate patient measurements.
- Proficiency in documentation and working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Brightree is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.30 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
