Position Summary:
Oversee day to day operations of commercial projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope by managing labor, scheduling, and material requisition.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Order materials and equipment needed for each project
- Compile submittal and plan package for foreman
- Make visits to site throughout project to ensure smooth execution
- Schedule labor and adjust as needed throughout project
- Oversee 15-20 projects simultaneously an a continuous basis
- Assist in the handling of disciplinary action, coaching, and performance reviews
- Schedule start-up and controls, test and balance. Ensure everything is working properly prior to project close
- Complete close-out documentation
- Assist in handling personnel issues within department
- Interview, select, and set up training for new employees within commercial department
- Monitor job-site safety, communicate with safety committee as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in strategic planning and risk management
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of job related safety requirements and procedures
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, purchase orders and contracts
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Education and experience:
- Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- 10 years related construction experience
- Minimum 5 years previous HVAC experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to read blue prints
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
