Sales Strategy & Business Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and market share.
Identify new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and individual leisure travelers.
Generate and qualify new leads, focusing on market segments that align with the hotel’s brand and goals.
Proactively target and pursue corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and consistently work towards closing deals.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, including repeat clients and local businesses.
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet them.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction from the initial booking through post-event follow-up.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure the highest level of service for clients.
Revenue & Target Achievement:
Work closely with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies that drive profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies and tactics accordingly.
Event & Conference Sales:
Promote and sell the hotel’s event and conference facilities to large groups, conventions, and special events.
Collaborate with the events team to ensure smooth execution of bookings, ensuring all client expectations are met or exceeded.
Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Analyze sales trends, identify gaps, and take corrective actions to achieve goals.
Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales and Marketing regarding sales activities, client feedback, and market conditions.
Networking & Industry Engagement:
Attend local networking events, trade shows, and business development meetings to promote the hotel and generate new business.
Build and maintain a solid network of industry contacts, including travel agents, corporate planners, and event managers.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, front desk, and operations to ensure seamless guest experience and smooth booking processes.
Participate in hotel promotional activities, campaigns, and initiatives to maximize visibility and reach.
