Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, guest rooms, or residential spaces according to established standards.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and personal items as needed.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to uphold the appearance of various surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with custodial duties as required, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices for cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems is a plus but not required.
