Housekeeper

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to hotel cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:Guest Room Cleaning:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.
• Dust furniture, vacuum floors, and mop as needed.
• Sanitize and clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Empty trash bins and restock room amenities.

Public Area Maintenance:

• Clean and maintain hotel hallways, lobby, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Ensure that common areas are neat, organized, and free of debris.

Laundry & Linen Care:

• Collect, sort, and deliver used linens to the laundry area.
• Fold, organize, and restock clean linens in housekeeping storage.

Guest Service & Communication:

• Respond to guest requests for extra towels, linens, or other amenities promptly.
• Report lost and found items to the front desk immediately.
• Notify maintenance staff of any needed repairs (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks).

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
