**Position Summary:**
As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities and systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs to uphold our guests’ satisfaction and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of all areas of the hotel to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and mechanical systems.
- Work with management to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and front desk, to support the overall guest experience.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked maintenance and repair area with necessary tools and supplies.
- Document all maintenance and repair work performed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
- Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working from heights, such as ladders or scaffolds.
- Full range of mobility and manual dexterity.
