Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast items in accordance with hotel standards.
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness in all food handling areas.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing excellent guest relations.
- Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Set up and break down the breakfast area efficiently each day.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any expired items.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns during breakfast hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food handling or preparation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent guest relations skills to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic cooking skills are beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems like Aloha is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
