Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting, while also preparing and serving a variety of breakfast items. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

• Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards.
• Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking as required.
• Manage inventory of breakfast supplies and report any shortages or issues to management.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback in a professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is a plus.
• Experience as a dietary aide or delivery driver can be beneficial for this role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are desirable.
• Must be able to lift and move kitchen equipment as necessary.
