Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm welcome and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage reservations and handle guest requests, ensuring all needs are met promptly.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle phone calls professionally, utilizing strong phone etiquette to address inquiries and concerns.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints or issues effectively while maintaining positive guest relations.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including phone systems and reservation software.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Experience in resort settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
